IDENTIFICATION

Photo ID requirements

Under Article 15 of Japan's Secondhand Articles Dealer Act, you must present identification showing your name, current address, and date of birth when selling items.

Trading Card Gallery ROKU requires a photo ID. Please bring one of the following:

Japanese driver's licenseMust be valid
My Number CardNotification cards are not accepted
  • Your ID must be valid at the time of verification and show your address, name, and date of birth. Please bring an ID with sufficient time remaining before expiry.
  • We do not use the reverse side of a My Number Card, which displays the individual number, for identity verification. Please do not present that side.
  • Information from documents presented is appropriately managed and retained by Trading Card Gallery ROKU in accordance with the Secondhand Articles Dealer Act.

Two important points
when selling cards

Condition

Card condition can significantly affect the buyback price. Protect trading cards from damage by keeping them in suitable card sleeves and storing them carefully.

Rarity

Separating rare cards from common cards and grouping them by rarity before bringing them in can help shorten the appraisal time.
